With the festive season right at the corner, the lights, the glitz and the glamour fill our minds, hearts and closets alike with colors, lights and the jazz. Confused what to wear at those Diwali bashes or the Lakshmi Pujas? Here we have some crackling looks from the leading ladies of the tinsel town to unleash the inner fashion goddess within you. Take a look at some traditional yet unconventional outfits by our Bollywood Divas and delve in those festive revelries like a Bomb.

Recently Aditi Rao Hydari was spotted at a film screening in Mumbai letting loose in a quirky baby blue tie-dye coordinate set by Hemant and Nandita, colorful embroidery added a cute yet playful element. Adding a classic twist to the attire, she was seen supporting classic white sneakers and a white sling bag. Minimal accessories and make up look perfect, giving us perfect outfit goals for a Diwali girls’ night out.

Our in-house fashionista, Sonam Kapoor never fails to turn heads as far as her outfits are concerned. She was recently seen in London attending a friend’s wedding in a knit high neck sweater and a brocade skirt from Temperley’s Fall 2017 Collection. Her look was completed with necklace and earrings by her mother, Sunita Kapoor. Red lip color and a chic hair updo added a lot of oomph to the entire ensemble giving us perfect outfit for the festivities and impending wedding season thereafter. Similarly, our former Miss India, Neha Dhupia was seen in rather traditional ethnic attire at Ramesh Taurani’s Pre-Diwali Party in an icy hued kurta and brocade red lehnga skirt from Raw Mango with sapphire drop kundan chaand balis ideal for Lakshmi Pujan.

Despite staying away from the film scene, Bipasha Basu has always graced the fashion quotient with her ever-so glamorous looks and appearances. She was lately spotted in the capital for an event in a lively pink off shoulder frill blouse with cacti print and flared pink circular skirt by Masaba Gupta. Her appearance looked phenomenal with statement ring and earrings from Minerali. She wore a sleek ponytail, simple makeup and smoky eyes giving us a fresh off the runway look apt for the festive merrymaking.

We also witnessed our student of the year, Alia Bhatt bringing out her ever playful avatar at the NDTV Cleanathon in a color blocked scarlet and purple dress-jumpsuit hybrid with an interesting hemline with zip detailing by Payal Khandwala. Mastering her art between playfulness and traditional the actress was seen completing her look with pink strappy sandals, silver earrings by Sangeeta Broocha with dewy makeup, nude lips and sleek hair just about right for a wonderful Diwali dinner date with that special someone. Correspondingly, her contemporary Parineeti Chopra wasn’t far behind. She was seen in a beautiful ethnic dress by Anita Dongre promoting her upcoming flick ‘Golmaal Again’. The intricately embroidered dress was cinched at the waist making her look like a diva. Her outfit was completed with golden strappy sandals by Steve Maddens and dainty earrings. Minimal makeup look with smoky eyes and simple side parted hair made it a magnificent choice for celebrations both at work or home.

Where our Bollywood Divas are stealing shows with their breathtaking looks, ace designer and fashion director at Vogue, Anaita Shroff Adajania was seen having a blast at a Diwali dinner party organized by Sandeep Khosla in a red silk one shoulder outfit by Payal Khandwala and Hanut with minimal makeup and sleek open hair taking our breaths away at the very least.

Lastly, Karisma Kapoor was seen at Arpita Khan Sharma’s Diwali bash in a white pleated kurta with matching churidar and embroidered gold jacket by Varun Bahl. She looked astonishing in a pair of gold sandals and a gold clutch with hair in a braid and dark lip color.
